Once Around on a Bicycle 
This chapel inside the walls of the old fort at Sagres, on the south-western tip of Portugal, was built for Henry the Navigator almost 600 years ago.
Inside Seville's Cathederal is Columbus' Tomb, borne by four statues representing the four regions of Spain.
This Moorish tower is attached to Seville's Cathederal. There's a great view of the city from the top.

On the ferry trip from Athens (Pireus) to Rhodes we stopped here for 20 minutes. I never got off the boat, but shot this picture of the scenic port of Kos from the deck.
This is the Castle of the Knights of Rhodes who were previously known as the Knights of Jerusalem. After Rhodes they went on to become the Knights of Crete and the Knights of Malta. I'm not sure if they ever became the Knights of Ibiza, but I'm looking into it.
The Mediterranian coast of Turkey is scenic, but difficult to cycle. Here's a view of Kalkan from up in the hills.
Tourist boats sail up and down the Turkish coast. They anchor at coves like this for an hour and let the passengers swim ashore.
Would you rent a room to this man? A lot of hotel managers wouldn't.
I got a room this night in Turkey. This is all of my possessions, except for a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and of course the bike.
My knowledge of the Turkish language is minimal, but I believe this is a restaurant.
I have stopped at hundreds, if not thousands, of gas stations on this trip. They are the most convenient place to get bottled water, soft drinks and snacks. This BP station is in Turkey.
From Alanya, Turkey I took a ferry to Girne, North Cyprus to avoid some of the worst of the Turkish coast. This is the view of the harbor from my hotel room.
